Seafood & Shanty Ballycotton / Family Fun Day was first launched in 2013 by Darina Allen demonstrating fish dishes in association with the Ballycotton Fisherman's Association on Ballycotton pier. In 2016, Rachel Allen showed us how to make a simply delicious ceviche from a freshly caught turbot and last year Arun Kapul of Green Saffron added something spicy to our demonstration area. This year's demonstrations are yet to be confirmed but will be worth saving the date for! We are delighted that both Arun Kapil Green Saffron and Rachel Allen has confirmed they will be joining us again and demonstrate on Ballycotton pier during 2018's Seafood & Shanty Ballycotton Family Pier Day - thank you both SO much for your ongoing support! Seafood & Shanty Ballycotton is a local businesses initiative aimed to educate and promote the importance of fishing and farming in rural Ireland and to showcase the beautiful fishing village of #Ballycotton
